FAQ:  Troubleshooting Calls

I need help NOW but I can't find an available time on the scheduling calendar. 

If you are unable to find an available time on our calendar that works for you, please

send us an email with "URGENT" in the subject line.  Explain your problem and time-frame

and we will do our best to accommodate you. 

What if you can't fix my Excel spreadsheet issue during the live troubleshooting session?

This is rare but if it were to happen you would receive a full refund.  Click here to learn

The information in my file is sensitive.  How can I know you will keep my

information secure?

We take the confidentiality of your information very seriously.  Click here to learn

What if you fix my problem in the first few minutes of the call.  Do I still have to pay

for the full session?

Yes, our Troubleshooting Sessions are billed at a flat rate of $45 for a 30-minute session.  

If you have other questions or issues; however, you can spend the remaining time on 

the call picking the brain of the Consultant on Excel-related topics.   

What if it takes more than 30 minutes to fix my problem?

If the Excel expert is close to finishing the work on your project at the end of the 30-minute session, they will take the time to finish at no additional charge.  If it is going to take more than 15 minutes to finish, you will have the option to keep going and be charged for an additional session or end the session and finish the work on your own.  These situations are rare.  We typically resolve problems in the first 10 to 15 minutes of the call.  

In some situations, we cannot resolve your problem in less than an hour.  In that case, we will provide you a quote for the services and the projected time-line to finish.  In that situation, you would receive a full refund for the Troubleshooting call.  

There are no surprise billings.  If you need our help we will tell you in advance the costs and time required.    

FAQ:  General Questions

There are several people in my company who always come to me for help with their spreadsheets.  I don't have time to help them.  Can I send them to you?

This is a really common situation in both small and large companies.  One person in the group is an advanced Excel user and they become the go-to for everyone else.  It can be a huge burden for that person who has regular duties and responsibilities to attend to.  

The answer is YES, you can send them to us. 


Another option is to have the Manager contact us for a discounted group rate.  In this scenario, we go "on retainer" so anyone on your team can contact us for immediate help with their spreadsheets.  We will have an NDA in place to protect the company's confidential information, and we will understand the particular "rules of the road" that apply to your company's data protocols.  For example, if a person wants to create a new spreadsheet, but the information is already contained on the corporate Sharepoint, we can help them connect to the relevant data to avoid duplication. 

I have spreadsheets but I have no idea how to analyze the data between them.  Can you help?  

Yes.  We can absolutely help you accomplish this.  It starts with a free initial consultation so we can learn more about the data and how you would like to see it through one or more lenses of analysis.  

Other people in my company need access to my spreadsheets but I'm afraid to let them get into the files.  Is there a way to share my files so some people can edit or print, but they can't accidentally break them or overwrite my data?  

Yes.  There are many ways to preserve data in your Excel spreadsheets so the relevant information can be shared while protecting the file from erroneous or unauthorized changes.  Whether you need to lock down the whole file, just specific pages, formulas only, or any combination or variety of protection styles, we can help.  Let's start with a conversation and we can advise you from there.   


How much do you charge for your services?

FAQ:  Amazon Seller Services

We would like to take our listing data and put it into a spreadsheet so we can upload it to our Amazon seller account.  Can you help?

Yes.  If you need the data entered into a spreadsheet, we would start with our Data Entry team to build the data, then baton-pass to one of our Amazon Expert Consultants to format the file so it fits within the Amazon requirements.  You would then have the option to upload the file yourself or have our Consultant to do it for you. 

Will you create new listings for us, including the write-up, detail pages and photos?

Yes.  On our Amazon Sellers Team, we have copywriters with extensive experience creating Amazon listings that are keyword-rich and fall within the strict requirements and best practices demanded of Amazon sellers.  We also have Product Listing Experts who will complete the detail pages behind your listings.  We have a contracted professional product photographer who will create photos for your listings that are compliant with Amazon's requirements and beautifully represent and drive demand for your product.
